Kindredly ("the app") is a social-skills learning app operated by Aryan Madire ("we", "us"). You can reach us at aryanmadire1303@gmail.com.
This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. It applies to the iOS app and any other platforms where Kindredly is distributed.
We collect only what the app needs to function:
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
These third-party providers process data strictly to deliver the feature you are using, under their own privacy policies:
Important: voice recordings are sent to Groq only when you tap the microphone. The AI coach is powered by third-party language models — please do not enter sensitive personal information (passwords, financial data, private details about other people) into the coach.
On-device data (Vault notes, wins, detailed progress) can be erased at any time via Settings → "Reset all progress". This deletes it permanently from your device.
Server-side data is limited to your anonymous ID, display name, XP, and streak. To have it deleted, email aryanmadire1303@gmail.com from the device the account was used on, and we will remove it within 30 days.
Audio recordings are transient: they are used to produce a transcription and are not retained by us beyond that task.
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because accounts are anonymous, exercising these rights works the same way for everyone: use the in-app reset for device data, or email aryanmadire1303@gmail.com for anything server-side.
Kindredly is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us at aryanmadire1303@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Server data is held in Supabase’s hosted infrastructure with row-level access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep the data footprint deliberately small to limit exposure.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note significant changes in the app’s release notes. The current version is always available in the app (Settings → Privacy Policy) and at our public policy page.
Questions, deletion requests, or concerns: email aryanmadire1303@gmail.com. Kindredly is operated by Aryan Madire.
